Druid Rituals, Spells, Exercises

Druid Rituals and Spells have many forms. Druids draw from their own judgment and experience to decide what is right at a particular moment. Druid ancestors did not write down anything about their religion. They had a tradition of only speaking orally.

Druid Rituals draw on many sources when trying to determine the future. You can search online for information. No one should actually practice a ritual or spell until they have studied them in full. You will want to know what the ritual or spell is all about. You do not want to do it the wrong way. Take notes and keep the notes handy so you can refer to them when performing your ritual. When selecting a Druid Ritual or Spells make sure you are using ones that interest you and make sense to you. If you are just learning, you do not want to select one that is too detailed. Even astrology can help you begin to start to learn about rituals and spells. Astrology can allow you to learn more about people and why they are the way they are. Some things you can change about them, but it’s important to have a baseline. You never know how much it may help you.

Druid rituals help you contact the Spiritual. The exercises allow you to reach deep levels of inspiration and healing. Most rituals begin with the call for peace for, which is part of the Druid teaching, "without peace can no work be". The Druid may see each quarter and say "May there be peace in the (direction)." Then the Sacred Circle is cast that will call to the Spirits of the four directions.

Rituals and Spells are composed on time, places and people. They can be within an open celebration or an intimate session. Most take place outdoors because contact with the Earth, Sea and Sky is very important to the ritual. The spells can also help healing and spiritual growth. Spells have one time magical effect. They can come by arcane or divine. Some who use spells and rituals choose just a few and limit the ones they choose. Others use a wide variety of spells and rituals.

Rituals and spells are prepared in advance from a spell book or journal and sometimes even through meditation and prayer. Most spell casters prepare everything ahead of time while some do their spell or ritual spontaneously. Most spells and rituals come from eight different schools of magic which represent how the spell will take effect.
